Engine and Ladder 65 were dispatched at 2200hrs to assist Station 42 on a dwelling fire in the 4100 block of Geryville Pike. Also dispatched on the box were Squirt 71, Engine 87 and Tanker 87 and Tanker 72.  Chief 42 arrived to find an active chimney fire.  Squirt 71 arrived first in front of Ladder 65 and both crews set ladders to the roof and sent crews inside to remove the active fire.  E42 and E87 arrived and assisted interior crews with salvage.  Crews contained the fire to the chimney with no extension to the walls or roof.  Crews cleared in about an hour.  Fire Police directed traffic around the incident.
